January Fake Events

Hey Guys!

Looks like the GMs want to start the New Years with a lie!

The "new event":

So what exactly is this?

Nothing new!

Why did they bother making an Event banner for this?

We've had 2x exp/drop the 1st day of the month for over a year now.

 Do they think WYD players are stupid and wouldn't notice!?

And also,

Why is this foema holding a sword and wand ? 0.0

Random mana pot and amulet too lolz.

But seriously they should have just posted it in the NOTICE SECTION.

Hey guys!

Having fun collecting those xmas boxes?

Probably not since you need to afk/hunt a while to get some.

The prizes from the event aren't too bad. 

I think all the ss should be the same price =p

also notice the typo

I am sure it's suppose to be 50 dmg.

 but at least people have a chance to get the rare arcane amulets :)

 

Also there was a little addition to the event.

Alot of stuff for only 1 tree

Re: Bugs;

So yeah we still have the bugs &

I don't really seen a time period for them to end 0.0

I have been really busy with other things so I dont mind as much now.

Also I didn't want to do those copy & paste blogs =p

If you guys are in school too,

it may be either dead or finals week so try to study some ^_^.

But also get some sleep!!

Something that I saw earlier reminded me that I should point this out.

We have these errors & bugs in game.

I said before how Japan & Brazil WYD also have same bugs.

I looked into it & saw that the Brazil server & JP both had the gold bug at some point.

But other servers are still up & going because 

they can actually do clues & the mount feed works lolz.

As for the poll:

I was hoping that was an exaggeration
but looks like it will go farther than Christmas :(

New Mounts? ILLEGAL!

So I have been busy but I did want to talk about this.

Last week (I think) everyone was seen on a new mount.

Now in case you guys didnt know,

these mounts are illegal to have now after GM posted it.

Why?

Well these mounts are not even real mounts.

These are just examples of mount costumes that are too come.

I wonder step into the bug process to get this or you'll get banned!

If you have one delete it asap =p

Back to why it may be illegal. 

GMs reason that since it's a bug that makes it illegal but,

there seems to be a double standard here.

I would argue that it shouldn't be an offense to have one.

It may be a bug but try to use human judgment to see that it does not harm.

Right now people are bored & see no reason to play 

but a little thing like things makes things a bit better if it was allowed.

A few things that would make WYD so much better.

Erion NPC

 (Those nightmares are 33mil)

 Nell

It would make the game so much better & more profits for Admins.

Too bad we dont have it :( . . .

WYD Global - Our Test Server ~!

Oh good. Oh joy!

I had always wanted to play in a test server but not like this 0.0

WYD Global is now our little messed up world.

People are saying "fix it or ima leavin' !"

What happened?

Let's go back to the Beginning. . . :)

November Friday 12th 2010

I checked the WYD site in the morning & saw the post:

I had to see this for myself lolz

So yeah, even with the gold bug you could tell the items on

server 1 & 3 cost bought from NPC were only 1 gold.

Okay so I thought free gems & pots for a while nothing big right?

It didn't occur to me that people would buy stuff from the NPC &

then sell it back to make billions of gold until someone pointed it out lol

I thought at worst people could idk, get things like upgraders to max out their items

Or now that I look at the ss also reset their stats =p

I honesty didn't even know an upgrader could be sold to npc for 12mil lol.

So then the GMs started monitoring the area & claiming to be taking down names.

They stationed their GM characters at the kingdom NPC's but it was too late.

(I figured out people had been abusing this bug a few days prior)

This was also not too effective because people just went to erion for their gold.

Apparently those things could have some value when sold to npc

or if that didn't work they could sell gems from Azran too I guess 0.0''

Later. . .

So most people that did have +11 god pieces by this point 

had maxed their stats but that wasnt the worse part.

Everyone suddenly became a billionaire whether you abused the bug or not.

Everyone now had tons of gold so it was worth nothing.

Hyper inflation has his WYD Global just like it has hit African currency.

Or if you prefer like Germany during the Great Depression:

So what to do?

The economy of the game has died.- as many like to say.

I think the obvious answer would have been a "Roll Back" but first off, 

What is a "roll back"??

What people mean when talking about it is that the game would be 

reset to the couple of days before this bug occurred which might have

been the 10th of last week after the weekly maintenance.

So you would be back to whatever you had before the 10th of November.

This does not mean a roll back before the 7.56 patch.

That would be another issue altogether =p

I just think the GMs have made it all to clear that they are unable

or incapable of doing a "roll back", without actually stating it, even if they want to.

Right Now

So what will happen now?

 Surely we cannot hope to expect a "roll back" :(

Even if the bug is fixed by next patch what will happen to the gold?

Somehow everyone is involved now. 

Will the GMs just deleted all the gold in game?

I know I had a few mil beforehand I'd rather not lose lol.

Also this bug only helped to hurt the game even further by making more distrust
from the players that were also uneasy about the bugs of the sudden 7.56 patch.

Oh, what to do?

People have already started waving the SD india flag.

I know I am definitely not going to that crappy server.

Even with all the faults of WYD Global even now, it's still better.

(SD will also eventually get the 7.56 patch soon)

Others have started selling the accounts. 

Actually all the people I know have started.

GMs better have some heavy compensation awaiting players

that loyally stayed through all of this mess on top of great mess.

(p/s: I dont suggest selling important items for gold right now)

I am not going to WYD India.

I am not quitting just yet.

Like you have seen the only good event this month is the Aisle13 event.

You can make quite a lot if you take advantage 

but you need to gather the items quickly!

Generals  Events

What's wrong will this?

Well I miss old Scourge. Yes, that lovable dino that reminded us of Godzilla.

Now I just think these things hit too hard. 
Yes the person with a 15 set is complaining about the mobs hitting too hard. 
Now you know they really are!

Also they now drop only scraps & sometimes jewels or other stuff.

Why can't it always drop jewels & sometimes that other god making junk? T_T

It seems the old General was better. Yeah remember the one that gave us laks?

Sure this one gives Eternals & seph which are good for mortals but why 

bother having a Celestial version?

Same things for more than double the pain.

Too many eternal already. Soon it'll be the new wiseman stone 0.0

Events

That gold event seemed like a good idea at 1st glance but then again who hasn't

bought a celestial before.
That would be the cheaper & smarter thing to do so you, yes you GMs,

can't expect the name of the mortal to be the same as the cele.

How about those Celestial who were sealed?

How about if you ever changed your name?

I sure fall under one of those categories & changing the names so that

my mortal & celestial's match would just cost more than what I would get 

from being in that gold program for 4 months. 

Next.

That Halloween Event. Oh Good I thought ... a halloween event! but >.>

ok so that thing about requiring a costume was stupid.
(coins are expensive, not that they work anyway).

I tried it since I was bored & oh just for "fun", at least that's what I thought.

The prize was one of those stupid boxes from the last month's box event.

I had a month to get those why give me that literal crap now?

Maybe they'll change it but for now don't even bother.

I won 3/4 of the 1st event they did & got an Ori, sapphire, & 1mil brick.

So totally worth it, not. Don't bother unless you do it for fun.

Next.

 What was the other event ? umm... I cannot remember.

Oh that's right I haven't participated so I would not remember it.

The "Asile 13" event there you auto trade stuff & can get up to 5mil.

I dont think this is a bad event but I dont think this should be the best event of the month.

The GMs have 300mil, divide that by 5mil so he can buy from 60 people.

If you take advantage of this you can make alot of gold.

I dont think the GMs actually change the tax to 0 of the server. I check today on sv2

while the event was going on but it still showed 5%. I guess they dont care. Why should they?

Old Events

On a small side note, I looked at some past events.

The last year or before that the CM's were here so we had some good Halloween events.

Also a 20% Nell discount. 

This year we "got the rock"

A rock full bugs & all sorts of nasty goo.

Clue

I said this before to the GMs a few time & mentioned it in a previous blog.

If clue aren't fix so that it requires less people to register, this wyd server will die.

In theory the 11 people to reg seems like a great idea. All other WYD servers have

hundreds of people ready to do clues. In practice here though we dont.

If you think about it even if all these bugs & problems of the new patch are bad &

inconvenient , had clues stayed the same as the last patch with no changed,

people would have something to do right now. It also wouldn't look like the

game is about to close or die. 

There is really no point in logging into wyd right now.

Even the academies are starting to die but that's another issue.

Nyu Lv. 200 Quest

We have gotten a nyu little quest this update.

Only lv 200's can do it! =x

(Soul or Celestial)

The Quest it to make a New type of Stone

The stats are below =p

A person needs to collect 6 items total to make it.

See below!

So in case you saw these items & wondered what they were for,

now you know ^_^!

• The stone is similar to an SS so it can be placed in an slot an SS can. 
• It does add 200 stats at +9 (yes Soul does increase that stat) 

Just note that one item is gotten from Hell Gate.

So no one will be able to try it until it's put into Nell :(

November Events Announced

Hey guys!

So I was actually wondering whether there would be anything this month.

You know, since the GMs have had all these problems in October 

but now the WYD Global site shows 3 events coming up!

This one is the only one with details shown

So let's take a look at it first.

GMs are giving free gold to it's "loyal players" oo ^_^!

Below is the chart they included for their event.

 (notice GODs arent mentioned)

This chart shows how much you can get.

The details are a little confusing but it seems like you

can get gold from this event monthly from the GMs =p

But of course they want you to register & send some info first.

(weird, they want us to spam them lolz)

Seems pretty good if it's monthly!

I know I will sign up =p

(something tells me they'll amend this event's details sooner or later)

Anyways, 

next event!

Actually I dont know anything about this event other than the name.

I get a blank page when clicking the event page.
